Moliere’s comedy, which takes a look at academic pretention, focuses on the lives of a group of “learned ladies” and their insatiable obsession for learning and high-brow culture of the conceited kind. Mix in a love triangle, a weak-minded husband, and a grammatically incorrect housemaid and you have one of Moliere’s most-beloved comedy of manners. This production is directed by Dr. Bret Jones.
Mon, 30 Sep 2013 20:49:48 +0000 Jedd Beaudoin 24153 at http://kmuw.org At Play: Moliere and Menopause At Play Theatre Roundup: 10/15- 11/04 http://kmuw.org/post/play-theatre-roundup-1015-1104
A classic from Gilbert and Sullivan, lesser known works from F.
