KMUW’s financial support comes from a variety of sources, but no source is larger than the support that comes from our members.

Becoming a member might be the most obvious way to make a contribution to the station, but it is certainly not the only way. From contributions during our bi-annual pledge drives, donating your old car or remembering KMUW in your estate plans, there are many ways to support Wichita Public Radio.

No contribution is too big or too small.

Membership: All it takes is $20 or more to become a member of the KMUW family.

Student Membership: If you're 18 or older and a college student, you can become a member of the Nathan B. Stubblefield Society. Student ID required.

Society of 1949 ($400-999): Become a member with extra benefits, such as recognition in our annual report, first notification for kmuw media sponsored local arts and cultural events.

Tesla Society ($1,000+): As a major giver to KMUW, you receive VIP status, including personal invitations to selected KMUW special events, top priority listing for complimentary tickets and more.

Want to do something big for KMUW? Recently extended legislation allows you to now make tax-free lifetime gifts from your IRA. The IRA contribution allows individuals over 70 ½ to make direct transfers to non-profit organizations without having to count the transfer as income for federal tax purposes. This opportunity is available through December 31, 2013. For more information call Mike Lamb at the WSU Foundation, 978-3040.

Have an old car just taking up space in your driveway or garage? It could mean dollars for KMUW!

KMUW and the WSU Foundation invite you to become a member of the Society of 1895. The Society of 1895 honors those members who have included a gift to KMUW through an estate or planned gift. Honor the past, value the present and secure the future of your public radio station, KMUW. To learn how, call 978-6789.

Thank you for all of your contributions to KMUW, whether they be financial or your time and talents.

We could not do what we do without you!
