New Programming on Saturdays

As we continue to improve our weekend schedule, we are adding two new programs to the Saturday lineup that have great potential to serve our audience better.
At 1 pm, tune in for Snap Judgment, a new show from NPR, hosted by a Public Radio Talent Quest winner, Glynn Washington. The program delivers a raw, musical brand of storytelling that dares listeners to see the world through another’s eyes.
At 2 pm, Wichita Public Radio adds the popular show Radiolab to the Saturday lineup. Radiolab has been requested by listeners for a long time and is finally available as a weekly program. It's highly produced, innovative and kind of quirky. I'm really excited to get it on the air.
These programs are similar to This American Life, which has been growing in popularity for a long time. These new shows use fresh, compelling storytelling and offer a different look at some of today's most important topics.
