Crossroads wraps up the Jazz Appreciation Month/B3 Blues feature with some bluesy organ featured in tracks by the Chartbusters, Greg Skaff, the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Moreland & Arbuckle, and in honor of her centennial birthday, Ella Fitzgerald - plus a special featuring soul jazz organ great Dr. Lonnie Smith in hour two of the show.

Crossroads also wraps up its tribute to Lonnie Brooks and James Cotton, highlights music from artists with concerts in the coming week, and features new music from Southern Avenue and Big Bill Morganfield.

Chris Heim produces and hosts Global Village, a nationally and internationally distributed world music show; the nightly jazz show Night Train, and Crossroads, KMUW’s twice-weekly blues and R&B show. Chris is also a critic and freelance writer whose work has appeared in the Chicago Tribune, Utne, Global Rhythm, Dirty Linen, and Option, among others.
