Old Crow Medicine show has a long history with Bob Dylan. The legendary singer received co-writing credit on the band’s first major single, “Wagon Wheel” and, now, to celebrate 50 years of his classic album Blonde on Blonde, Old Crow Medicine Show has covered the release in its entirety. Listen for selections from 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde plus selections from the brand new release from the Mark Lanegan Band’s latest, Gargoyle.

Based in Philadelphia, Low Cut Connie has earned a reputation for its high-energy rock ‘n’ roll over a series of releases. The band’s latest effort is titled Dirty Pictures (Part 1). We’ll hear selections from it as well as music from British guitar legend Robin Trower’s new release, Time and Emotion.

Before The Replacements and Hüsker Dü became the prominent voices of Minneapolis punk music, The Suicide Commandos paved the way with the LP Make A Record. Stardom was elusive but the trio has returned with a new release titled Time Bomb. We’ll hear selections from it as well as music from The Replacements’ album Sorry Ma, Forgot To Take Out The Trash. We'll remember musician Col. Bruce Hampton, who died early this week at the age of 70. Hampton was known for his work with the wildly unsuccessful Hampton Grease Band in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Later, he gained recognition on the jam band circuit with Col. Bruce Hampton's Aquarium Rescue Unit and later appeared in the film Sling Blade.
