Plus birthday salutes to Joe Sample (of the Crusaders) and saxophonists Joshua Redman and Ari Brown, and new music from the Will Caviness Sextet, Scott Hamilton with the Jeff Hamilton Trio, Dr. Lonnie Smith, and Brad Mehldau’s 10 Years Solo Live box set.

Tuesday 2.2.16

Plus a track from the Wee Trio’s Ashes to Ashes Bowie jazz tribute album, several albums in tribute to Nat Cole, and new music from Charles Lloyd & the Marvels (featuring Bill Frisell) and Kansas City soul jazz group OJT.

Wednesday 2.3.16
