People living in certain parts of Wichita can now begin applying for free house paint through a program offered by the city.
Qualified property owners will receive up to $200 in paint.
Seniors and those with certain disabilities may also qualify for a grant to cover the cost of labor to have their homes painted.
The program continues until September 14 and is paid for with Community Development Block Grant funds from the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development.
For more information about the program or eligibility, contact the Neighborhood Improvement Services Division at 462-3713.
