Many early voters lined up on the side of a hallway at the historic ?Sedgwick County Courthouse in downtown Wichita Monday to cast their votes.

For one voter, it was an easy process. Julia says she was motivated to vote for one main reason.

"I’m voting because I don’t want to see Trump as president. It’s just as simple as that," she says. "I've never witnessed a person who's been so divisive, hateful. You know, we teach children that they can’t call [each other] names, they can’t bully. These are the things that we see with Donald Trump."

Chet, on the other hand, is a Trump supporter.

"I don’t want eight more years of what we had. I want to see us be respected again. I want our military strong. I want our economy to grow," he says. "I voted for a person because that name is applied to the core values of where I wanted to go, and I voted for Donald Trump."

Polls are open on Election Day until 7 p.m.
