The June Memphis Soul feature continues this week with music from William Bell, whose latest album (and first on Stax in several decades) took home a Grammy. We’ll hear music from that and some of his classic Stax recordings as well. Plus in hour two, a House of Blues special with Al Bell (no relation) who led Stax Records during some of its most influential releases.
Plus music from a number of blues artists with concerts in the coming week and new music from Teresa James, Billy Flynn, and the Joey Gilmore Band.
