It's Law Day: US Attorney Speaking At WSU

U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom will be at Wichita State University Wednesday to talk about public safety and human rights.

The speech, which is in conjunction with Law Day, begins at 1:15 in Hubbard Hall, room 209.

The annual event is observed by lawyers, judges, court employees and others with an interest in the legal process. It highlights how law contributes to freedom in the United States.

Grissom oversees about 49 assistant U.S. attorneys and 53 support staff in Kansas.

He was nominated by President Obama in April 2010 and confirmed by the U.S. Senate in August 2010.
