A very special Global Village is in the wings for this Friday evening as host Chris Heim welcomes musician Jane Bunnett into the Global Village studio at KMUW. Bunnett talks about her exploration of Cuban music and the fusion of Cuban styles with her own contemporary jazz compositions.
Bunnett and Heim take you through the small villages and hidden music of Cuba and explain the inventive fusion of several different and often hidden musical ways.
