Plus music from the trombone ensemble Jazzbonez, guitarist Bobby Broom, guitarist and bassist John Webber, the Jazz at the Movie Band, and West Coast stars Gerald Wilson, Shelly Mann, and Buddy Collette.

Sarah, Carmen, Ella, Dinah and more - including a song from Shelia Jordan from the new Detroit Jazz City release and a tribute to Billie Holiday from Molly Johnson. Plus new music from organist Michael Kocour, saxophonist Kirsten Edkings, Wes Montgomery with the Eddie Higgins Trio, and Phil Woods with Greg Abate.

Night Train features the 2016 Jazz Grammy winners tonight – including John Scofield, the Maria Schneider Orchestra, Snarky Puppy, Eliane Elias and Tony Bennett with Bill Charlap. Plus more Jazz Singers for the February feature; birthday salutes to saxophonist and Ray Charles band member David ‘Fathead’ Newman, Latin jazz trombonist Papo Vasquez, and singer Patti Wicks; and new music from trumpeter Jeremy Pelt, and Jeff Coffin with the Caleb Chapman's Crescent Super Band.

Night Train marks the birthday of Caruso with music from saxophonist (and upcoming March featured artist) Joe Lovano. There’s also new music from Mike Freeman ZonaVibe’s tribute to Cal Tjader, a newly arranged performance of Claude Bolling’s "Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio", and the return of pianist Laurence Hobgood. Plus more music for the February Jazz Singers feature – this time from Manhattan Transfer’s Janis Siegel, Chet Baker, Betty Carter – and part two of the Jazz Profiles Jazz in Song series featuring the Singing Instrumentalists.
