Starting Monday, parents can go online to enroll their children in Wichita Public Schools using a computer, smartphone or tablet.

Returning students in USD 259 can be enrolled using an active account with the district’s web portal, ParentVUE. Enrollment forms, class schedules, information on district policies, and waivers are also available online. Parents can also pay for school meals and take care of enrollment fees through the web portal.

Parents of new students can complete enrollment at their child’s school from Aug. 8 to Aug. 10. Lists of school supplies will be on hand.

Online applications for free and reduced lunches will be available next Monday, July 18. The first day of school for all students is Wednesday, Aug. 24 with a half-day of orientation for 6th and 9th grade students on Tuesday, Aug. 23.

The Wichita Public Schools will have consistent enrollment times at all schools to make it convenient for parents who need to enroll multiple children at different schools. The enrollment times are:

  • Monday, August 8: 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Tuesday, August 9: Noon - 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, August 10: Noon - 7 p.m.

All enrollment info is available at www.usd259.org/enroll
