Now through September 1, Kechi Playhouse presents Not Now Darling. The play is set in the exclusive London fur salon of Bodley, Bodley, and Crouch, where Crouch struggles to keep things above board while his partner, Mr. Bodley, tries to secure the affections of a would-be mistress by “selling” her husband an expensive mink coat for a fraction of its real worth. Clothes, furs and scruples all fly out the window in this fast-paced and witty farce.
Coming in September to the Scottish Rite Temple it’s A Few Good Men. The 1989 play by Aaron Sorkin is also familiar from the 1992 screen adaptation starring Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson. Two Marines are accused of murdering a fellow soldier at a U.S. Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The accused both claim they were following an order known as a code red. Their lawyer Lt. Daniel Kaffee, with the help of his assistant Sam Weinberg and the persistent Commander Joanne Galloway, must uncover the truth in this politically explosive courtroom drama.
