At Play: Screen Adaptations Take The Spotlight

The Orpheum Theatre presents Scooby Doo Live: Musical Mysteries on June 12. Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. Gang have been called upon to help solve an epic mystery. Filled with wacky new characters and wild antics, Scooby Doo Live: Musical Mysteries is intended for young audiences who love traditional Scooby-Doo adventures.

Wichita Community Theatre presents Angel Street June 4-22. A Broadway hit first produced on the West End under the title Gaslight and filmed twice, Angel Street tells the story of the Manninghams who live on Angel Street in 19th Century London. As the curtain rises, all appears the essence of Victorian tranquility…but all is not what it appears

The Crown Uptown presents Shrek: The Musical June 6-28. Based on the Oscar winning film the musical provides a unique spin on some familiar tales and offers this much loved comedy a new home on the stage.

Beginning May 29th it’s Tom Frye’s Jaws: The Musical at Mosley Street Melodrama. As has become tradition with Mosley shows, there will one uncensored performance of the show on a date to be determined.
