Business owners can gain insight from their peers during a free meeting beginning Saturday on the Wichita State campus. The monthly program is offered by the Kansas Center for Entrepreneurship.
PluggedIn Wichita gives business owners a chance to meet, exchange ideas and experiences, and discuss issues related to their work in a relaxed atmosphere. John Gendren is with Network Kansas, a service of the Kansas Center for Entrepreneurship. It helps entrepreneurs and small business owners get started and grow successfully. He says business owners have discussed topics including social media marketing, client tracking software, and customer service relationship building.
“What we found is that sometimes it’s tough for a business owner to have someone they can talk to about what it is they are experiencing with their work," Gendren says. " So, creating an opportunity for them to openly converse appears to be beneficial for everyone.”
Grendren says that business owners have discussed topics including social media marketing, client tracking software and customer service relationship building.
PluggedIn meetings will take place on the second Saturday of every month at the Wichita State Metroplex, and will run for the rest of the year.
