Wichita movie theater magnate Bill Warren has sold Warren Theatres.
The Tennessee-based Regal Entertainment Group announced on Friday it has purchased seven Warren Theatres in Kansas and Oklahoma.
Warren Theatres operates five locations in Wichita, including the Palace Theatre and the Movie Machine in Towne West Mall.
President Bill Warren says he considered other sale offers before deciding on the Regal proposal.
Regal owns more than 500 theatres in 43 states.
