Two more public hearings are scheduled for the Arkansas River Crossing-95th Street South, or ARC95, Study. It outlines proposed developments along the 95th Street Corridor between Greenwich and Meridian in southeast Sedgwick County.
Residents in Derby and Haysville are invited to give their input over plans to improve the area, particularly around K-15 and 95th Street South, where a BNSF Railroad track runs.
A transportation study released several years ago identified the corridor as an area where improved access and mobility could lead to economic growth. It also recommended a new bridge over the Arkansas River.
The meeting in Derby is scheduled for Tuesday at The Pavilion at 5 p.m. In Haysville, the meeting will be on Thursday at the Haysville Community Library at 5 p.m.
County officials say about 130 people attended the first round of public meetings earlier this year.
