Soulsations Sunday: Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly Keeps Soul Alive For Four Decades

Sunday, September 14:

Tonight on Soulsations, hear music from a 70s soul band who hasn't produced new music in 20 years, but still has an incredibly devoted following. Maze featuring Frankie Beverly has been performing for four decades. The band was founded by the legendary Motown artist Marvin Gaye, who even purchased equipment to help the band start their career. The Los Angeles Sentinel published an interview with singer/songwriter Frankie Beverly, stating that most people can equate their feelings with any of his songs because of the simple lyrics and relatable themes.

Web extra: Hear Maze featuring Frankie Beverly's "Golden Time of Day."
