After the breakup of the Stray Cats, the band’s rhythm section, Slim Jim Phantom and Lee Rocker recruited former David Bowie guitarist Earl Slick for a new project. Named Phantom, Rocker & Slick, the trio recorded two full-length albums between 1985 and 1986 before disbanding. We’ll hear from the first of those, 1985’s self-titled which features Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones on one track. Also listen for music from Adrian Belew’s 1983 effort, Twang Bar King.
