Released in 1994, David Byrne’s self-titled album was a dark and often humorous affair, concerned with life in the wake of AIDS, the legacy of the New York art scene which he’d come up in as a member of Talking Heads, and the joys and pitfalls of marriage. We’ll hear selections from this recording plus material from Byrne’s 1980 collaboration with Brian Eno, My Life In The Bush of Ghosts.
