Among the highlights – new holiday titles from Jazz at Lincoln Center, Kim Pensyl, Daniel Perantoni, Etienne Charles, the Fred Hughes Trio, and Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings. Plus holiday sounds from the Hollywood Tuba 12, Kermit Ruffins, the Yellowjackets, Duke Ellington, Pee Wee Ellis, Karrin Allyson, Matt Wilson, and Mary Stallings.

Night Train steps aside this Christmas Eve to bring you two holiday specials from Wynton Marsalis and Jazz at Lincoln Center. In hour one, it’s a Red Hot Holiday Stomp as Wynton Marsalis hosts a Crescent City styled holiday show with father Elllis Marsalis and special guests Roberta Gumbel, Herlin Riley, Wycliffe Gordon and more. Then in hour two, Wynton Marsalis is back with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, and special guests Cecile McLorin Salvant, Gregory Porter and Rene Marie for A Swingin’ Holiday Jazz Party filled with lots of holiday and season favorites.
