We’ve seen a dramatic change in our weather this week. Wichita recorded record high temperatures on Sunday and Monday but a cold front passed over us on Tuesday, bringing much colder temperatures and a light mixture of rain and snow.
Through Friday, we’ll see daytime high temperatures in Wichita in the 40s and overnight lows dropping into the 20s.
Just in time for the weekend, temperatures will moderate with highs climbing back into the 50s and overnight lows in the 30s.
The precipitation on Tuesday was a welcome change but didn’t do much to reduce the on-going drought. For the next few days we’ll return to dry conditions with mostly sunny skies.
