WellPoint Plans To Purchase KS Medicaid Contractor Amerigroup

Kansas regulators will review plans for health insurance company WellPoint to purchase a company that was awarded a Medicaid contract.

A subsidiary of Amerigroup Corporation was awarded one of three contracts to manage Medicaid services in Kansas.

WellPoint now wants to buy Amerigroup.
