The Wichita Police Department is asking for help from the public to locate missing child.

Captain Jeff Weible said in a press conference Friday that four-month-old Vincent Moore was last seen with his 24-year-old father in Wichita. The infant's mother dropped Vincent off with his father in early June for visitation. Police did not identify the father but said he has been booked into jail on separate warrants.

According to police, the infant was last seen July 11 in the area of 31st and Hydraulic with his father near a home where they were staying.

"Investigators have worked through the night and throughout the day today locating family members and friends in an attempt to locate the four month old child," Weible said. "The child is still unaccounted for and no family members or friends have seen the child since July 11."

The police are asking for anyone with information in reference to Vincent to call the homicide section at 268-4182 or crime stoppers at 267-2111.
