Night Train highlights more music from May featured artists John Scofield and Sun Ra; features new music from Brian Lynch’s tribute to some Unsung Heroes of the jazz trumpet and Craig Handy’s dual salute to Jimmy Smith and the music of New Orleans; and marks birthdays to two jazz piano giants – Keith Jarrett and Mary Lou Williams, including a Jazz Profiles special about Williams in hour two of the show.
