As family comes into town for the Thanksgiving holiday, show them the creative side of Wichita. Many of the city’s museums will keep normal business hours next week-- except for the holiday itself-- which gives Wichitans a chance to show off their city.

The Exploration Place is accepting design ideas for its new aviation pavilion, “Design Build Fly,” Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Exploration Place announced the planning phase of this new aviation exhibit in September 2011. The new pavilion will replace the current Exploration Flight and Design Area.

The exhibit will receive continuous support from the Wichita State Engineering department, National Institute for Aviation Research and all other aviation industry members.
