Local Anti-Trafficking Group Wins National Award

ICT S.O.S., a local non-profit dedicated to the fight against human trafficking, has been selected to receive the 2015 Volunteer Leadership Group Award from the National Children’s Alliance. KMUW’s Abigail Wilson reports…  

A non-profit focused on ending human trafficking in Wichita has been awarded a $25,000 grant from State Farm.

ICT S.O.S. will use the money to expand the residential services they provide to young women in need.

Through its partnership with Carpenter Place, the program currently provides six individual apartments for women in crisis ages 18 to 24.
