Kansas business owners will have a chance to promote trade in Brazil this summer.

The trade mission to Brazil is supported by the Kansas Department of Agriculture and the Kansas Department of Commerce. Businesses throughout the state who have an interest in exporting products to Brazil will get a chance to increase market opportunities.

Heather Landsdowne with the agriculture department says Brazil was the 7th largest export market for Kansas last year.

A historic and ongoing shortcoming of the U.S. economy is its underutilization of the entrepreneurial potential within nonwhite communities.
