2017 Old Town Concert Series
KMUW and the Old Town Association present the 2017 Old Town Concert Series. With three Saturday nights of free live music, this concert series is a celebration of music and community. Join us in Old Town Square, at 2nd and Mead in Wichita, with your lawn chairs.

Rudy Love and The Love Family
Saturday, October 7, 7 to 10 pm
Older brother Rudy heads this sibling group. Once a demo vocalist for Motown and collaborator with Sly Stone, Rudy eventually returned to his hometown of Wichita, KS. Love Family blood members include Bob, Gerald, Peggy, Denise and Shirley.

Making Movies, based in Kansas City, makes music that's easy to dance to. With roots in Missouri, Panama and Mexico, the group bridges a variety of musical styles.

Sunday, October 22, 5 to 8 p.m.
Spirit of the Stairs formed in Wichita in 2003 with a mission to explore electric guitar-based instrumental rock. The band has since developed a loyal following with must-see live shows.
