The Ark River Clean-Up is an event sponsored by Cargill, the Kansas Alliance for Wetlands & Streams, the City of Wichita, and numerous partners.
Volunteers at the Clean-Up will receive an event shirt and a free lunch (while supplies last). Gloves and trash bags will be provided.

Brews, Clues and Running Shoes is a fun and exciting race where TEAMS OF 4 will complete physical and mental challenges to receive CLUES to complete an adult scavenger hunt. Explore Downtown Wichita like you never have before! Enjoying BREWS at each stop is optional, but we encourage teams to enjoy their time Downtown at each "challenge spot". There is no time limit to complete your challenges!

ANYONE AND EVERYONE CAN PARTICIPATE-participants need to be over 21! All proceeds benefit Girls on the Run.

Join us for a delicious spaghetti dinner, silent auction, and a night of connection and community — all in support of Camp Sunflower’s joyful, empowering programs for LGBTQ+ youth across Kansas.

Hosted by Camp Sunflower with the support of amazing local partners, this annual fundraiser helps ensure youth and families across our state have access to camp, year-round programs, and leadership opportunities.

Where: Calvary United Methodist Church (2525 N Rock Rd, Wichita, KS 67226)

Cost: $15 per Adult / $7 per Youth (4-10 years old) / FREE for 3 and under / Campers eat free!

Tour de Wichita is the only urban ride and walk that both highlights Wichita’s attractions and helps two great local nonprofit organizations—Bike Walk Wichita and Great Plains Diabetes. This is a fun Sunday afternoon ride and walk that takes participants by some of Wichita’s most popular attractions, neighborhoods, paths, artwork, and architecture.

We’re transforming a one-mile stretch of 21st Street into a vibrant car-free zone packed with energy, activities, and entertainment. Stroll, bike, run, or dance your way through this unforgettable day filled with:

Live Music & Dancing: Groove to local tunes and learn some new moves.
Fitness Fun: Get active with free sessions and other group fitness activities.
Art & Entertainment: Immerse yourself in creativity with street art displays and live performances.
Food & Vendors: Indulge in delicious eats from local food trucks and browse unique goods from community vendors.
Activity Hubs: Stop along the route to explore hands-on activities for all ages and interests.
