Applications are being accepted to fill an open seat on Wichita's Board of Education.

Barbara Fuller resigned last week due to moving out of District 3, which includes large portions of southeast Wichita.

The deadline for applications is Nov. 30 at noon. Any eligible voter living in District 3 can apply. The board will interview applicants on Dec. 6 during a special meeting. The board will then take feedback from community members before appointing a new board member Dec. 11.

Applications are available on the district's website.
