A Funk And Disco Classic On Soulsations Sunday

This week on Soulsations hear the soulful sounds of The Beginning of the End.  The band members, all from the Bahamas, created the 1971 release "Funky Nassau part 1 & 2." A blend of funk and disco, "Funky Nassau" remains popular among music lovers all over the world.

Carla Eckels is Director of Organizational Culture at KMUW. She produces and hosts the R&B and gospel show Soulsations and brings stories of race and culture to The Range with the monthly segment In the Mix. Carla was inducted into The Kansas African American Museum's Trailblazers Hall of Fame in 2020 for her work in broadcast/journalism.
