The Air Capital Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) will feature warbirds, military planes like the T-6 Texan II, and an air bike. There will be warbird & glider rides, a flight completion, young builder activities, and former astronaut Charles "Sam" Gemar will speak. He's flown on 3 Space Shuttle missions.

Pilot and co-chair Doug Range says there will more than 100 planes at the event.

"Everything from airplanes that guys have designed and built and fly themselves to kits," he says. "I fly a 1949 Stinson. I'll have it there. "

Range says he'll provide flights for kids 8-17. A forum will feature Kansas Cosmosphere’s Shannon Whetzel, who will discuss the Apollo 13 program, including the harrowing journey back from space.
