New Month/New Music Time At The Crossroads

May 1/3, 2015

It’s “New Month/New Music” time as Crossroads teams up with Global Village and Strange Currency at the beginning of every month to highlight the best in new releases.

Among the new blues titles featured this time at the Crossroads:

Top flight blues artists Otis Taylor, the Cash Box Kings, and Tad Robinson

Veteran performers JormaKaukonen, and John Mayall (with his 1967 Bluesbreakers lineup including Peter Green and Mick Fleetwood)

Female blues artists Debbie Davies, Beth Hart, Amy Black, and Gaye Adegbalola (formerly of the Saffires)

Hans Theessink teamed up once again with Terry Evans

and Arlen Roth's Slide Guitar Summit.

Chris Heim produces and hosts Global Village, a nationally and internationally distributed world music show; the nightly jazz show Night Train, and Crossroads, KMUW’s twice-weekly blues and R&B show. Chris is also a critic and freelance writer whose work has appeared in the Chicago Tribune, Utne, Global Rhythm, Dirty Linen, and Option, among others.
