Crossroads kicks of the September Piano Month/Blues Piano feature with music from Crescent City great James Booker.

There’s also music from the newly announced winners in the Blues Blast Music Awards and from a number of artists and groups with concerts in the coming week.

There’s new music from Selwyn Birchwood, the Jimmy Reed Vee-Jay singles box set, and from Gregg Allman’s Southern Blood, his last album released on Friday September 8^th. We’ve also got a special about the making of that album in hour two of the show.
