Tuesday’s general election will decide city leaders and school board members in dozens of cities across Sedgwick County.

Voters in 13 communities will be electing mayors. Most of the races are uncontested.

There are at least two candidates running for mayor in Garden Plain, Bel Aire, Maize and Haysville.

In 19 school districts, voters will be deciding on the people they want to serve on their Boards of Education. About half of the races have three seats up for election.

Only one school district has a bond question: The Rose Hill USD 394 district is seeking voter approval on $10 million worth of upgrades and security improvements.

Several cities are electing directors for drainage and improvement districts.

Polls are open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. You can find your polling place here.
