The Andover Public School District will be moving forward with building new schools, renovations and security upgrades beginning this summer.
Voters passed two propositions worth about $189 million in Tuesday's bond election. Proposition 1 passed with 79 percent of the vote, and Proposition 2 passed with 62 percent of the vote.
The district will build a new high school, a new elementary school and a district swimming pool.
In addition, all schools will get security upgrades to entrances, and six schools will get storm shelters.
