This week on Soulsations: The classic R&B duo of McFadden & Whitehead

Single Cover Art

Sunday, March 30, 2014:

Hear music by Philadelphia soul duo McFadden & Whitehead. The artists, Gene McFadden and John Whitehead, are most widely known for their 1979 signature song, "Ain't No Stopping Us Now." As writers, they wrote and produced The O'Jays' million-selling single, "Back Stabbers." The two are also creatively behind nearly all of Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes' album Wake Up Everybody and penned that group's U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart No.1 single, "Bad Luck."

Plus, new sounds from powerhouse gospel singer Beverly Crawford.
