Wichita Public Schools will begin its annual summer food program on Monday.
The Kid Power Cafe Summer Food Service Program offers free breakfast, lunch and snacks to children 18 years old and younger. Children do not have to be Wichita Public Schools students to participate.
Meals are available Monday through Friday at most of the 41 locations. The program runs through Aug. 3.
Reservations are not required and there are no income guidelines or any paperwork to fill out.
The Kansas State Department of Education and the United States Department of Agriculture sponsor the Summer Food Service Program. It is administered by Wichita Public Schools.
