Wichita State In The MVC Tournament

Can't make it to St. Louis for the MVC tournament? Experience the sights and sounds here!

-Wichita State Vs. Indiana State

WSU, 83  - Indiana State, 69 - Shockers win the MVC Tournament!

WSU has tied UNLV for the most consecutive wins in a season with 34-0. UNLV went 34-1 in 1991 losing in the NCAA National Championship game to Duke. (UCLA won 88 consecutive games from Jan, 19, 1971 to Jan 19, 1974 but the seasons had fewer games then.)

WSU owns the record for most Missouri Valley conference wins in a season with 34, passing Indiana State and Larry Bird's record of 33 in 1979 in which they lost to Michigan State / Magic Johnson in the championship game of the NCAA tourney.

WSU won the MVC Tournament for the first time since it has been held annually in St Louis / Arch Madness (1991). The last time WSU won the MVC tournament it was held in Tulsa in 1987.
